Why I left the timeline
The timeline is built to keep you reacting. Every post competes with every other post, and the ones that win are the loudest, not the truest. I noticed I was writing to win.
That is a slow way to lose yourself. You start shaping thoughts to fit the feed instead of shaping the feed to fit your thoughts.
So I left, and I built a place where nothing scrolls past. A post here sits still until someone chooses to read it. No counter, no ranking, no rush. It turns out I had more to say once the audience stopped shouting back.
