On keeping a feed

A feed is the oldest way to follow a site, and still the kindest. No login, no app, no algorithm deciding what you see. You subscribe, and new posts arrive in whatever reader you already use.

I keep one here because I want the relationship to be direct. If you like what I write, you can take the address and walk away with it. Nothing sits in the middle, deciding whether my words reach you.

That is the whole appeal. A feed asks for nothing and remembers everything.
